Hi! I’m Jasmin Christian, the maker behind TheCrochetGinger. I design and crochet amigurumi plushies (and the patterns so you can make them too!).

I first picked up crochet during the Covid-19 pandemic quarantine with a Disney Lilo & Stitch kit; however, I gave up after a couple of hours because I couldn't figure it out. Turns out, when I revisited it later, some of the stitches didn’t even exist! So honestly, I’m glad I didn’t waste my time on it.

Fast forward to late May of 2023: my favorite high school teacher assigned “The Passion Project,” where we could learn anything we wanted. While classmates chose sewing or new languages, I picked crochet and fell in love with the craft.

In July of 2023, I started my crochet business under the name "Crochet n Couture," but changed it to TheCrochetGinger in March of 2024 because it was more fitting. I've sold out on plushie drops, gone viral with my CaseOh series, and built a community of almost 950k friends across several platforms who share the love of handmade joy.
